FI GRIMMOND
Service Manager, Housing First, The Salvation Army
I specialise in the design, implementation, and development of large services for people who are experiencing homelessness. Ensuring a high standard of service provision which supports them to achieve positive outcomes and ultimately to reach their own potential. I have influenced significant increases in contract value and improved stakeholder engagement by the development of progressive feedback systems.
I am an adaptive and passionate leader, who influences cross-sector partnerships which has led to the development of collaborative working connections. I create opportunities for my team to develop beyond their role which creates effective succession opportunities.
My drive and ambition have given rise to being appointed as a non-executive director for 2 charities.
However, my greatest achievement is my beautiful family.
ALINE-WENDY DUNLOP
Over a long career Aline-Wendy worked initially in early childhood, primary and special education, a residential home for mothers and babies, as a home-visiting teacher, a nursery head and later as a teacher educator and researcher. Now Emeritus Professor at the University of Strathclyde, she continues to research and write, do ceramics, dig her allotment and to play and learn with her grandchildren.
NEIL FERGUSON
I joined the PNS Board in the autumn of 2022 in what is my first voluntary trustee position. My background is in HR and I am currently Managing Director of an outsourced consultancy who provide HR support and services to small and medium sized businesses across all industries and sectors. I have worked with lots of voluntary Boards to help resolve HR issues within third sector organisations and I am very much looking forward to working with the PNS Board and staff to help shape the strategy and move the organisation towards its objectives.
Away from work, I am a relatively new father which keeps me busy and I’m looking forward to learning more about parenthood from my involvement with this wonderful organisation.”
NIMA TEHRANI
Financial Services
I have worked across the financial services industry for over a decade since graduating university with a law degree. I have a background in project management and client relationship management.
I'm passionate about social welfare and see PNS as a shining example of how people can come together to achieve great things. It's a privilege to be involved with shaping the charity's future and I'm grateful to be part of an organisation with such a rich past.
In my spare time I am passionate about sports, both playing and spectating. I love the outdoors and I am never happier than when I'm out exploring with my family and our wee dog.
