APRIL HIHLIGHTS

Parent Network Scotland — April Highlights

A collage of nine photos showing people, including children and adults, doing crafts, sharing gifts, posing for group photos, and participating in community activities.

What a great start to April with Jackie Tolland, Parent Network Scotland CEO, talking about the parent journey with Jen C, one of our Glasgow trainee facilitators.

We also had a fantastic Easter event at Garrison House, Millport on Friday 11th April between 10–12. It was such a joy welcoming you all!

What a fantastic time connecting with local families at our Easter hub in Largs Library — thank you all for coming along, and a huge thank you to the Dell Family Balance team for their generous donation of Easter Eggs. Lots of happy faces today! Parent Network Scotland also headed to Millport on Friday 11th April, Garrison House for some more Easter fun.

We held an amazing strategy day with the PNS amazing board — so energising to come together and plan ahead!

We were also looking forward to our Easter event at the West Kilbride Village Hall on Tuesday 15th April, 9:30–11:30 — we were giving away free Easter Eggs to families on the day!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Drumchapel Library Parent Network Scotland drop-in! Easter egg giveaway — it was a great day.

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025

Team Parent Network Scotland walked for the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025 — Team Parent Network Scotland was all set for the Kiltwalk that morning! It was a bit of a rainy start, but we found someone willing to carry Lizzy to the finish line — Lizzy’s friend Hamish!

We kicked off Monday with some Monday Morning Gratitude for the amazing Parent Network Scotland team and all the incredible Glasgow Kiltwalkers this past weekend! A huge thank you to everyone who walked, supported, and cheered us on — your energy and encouragement kept us going.

Thank you for showing your support by sponsoring. Thank you to everyone who donated to us.

April has been such a full and inspiring month for Parent Network Scotland — from Easter fun across the country to strategy days and the Kiltwalk challenge, we are so grateful to everyone who has joined, supported, volunteered, and cheered us on. We couldn’t do this without you. Here’s to the months ahead and continuing to connect, support, and empower parents and families across Scotland!
