Many families are faced with an uncertain future amidst the additional strain of the ‘cost of living crisis, job insecurity, and tenancy challenges’, to name just a few circumstances. All of these factors can put considerable stress on family relationships.

Parent Network Scotland provides safe spaces, education, and experiences to support parents navigating the challenges families are faced with, giving ALL children across Scotland access to positive experiences in their childhood and bringing the joy back to parenting, using head and heart.Our peer-to-peer approach (parents supporting parents) builds confidence, skills, and calmness to create resilience and connections, strengthening relationships, accessing education, training, and volunteering, all of which can help steer pathways out of poverty through enabling parents to gain accredited transferable skills into the world of work to attract new employment opportunities and promotions. Our work is in partnership with like-minded organisations and builds the scaffolding of supportive networks, information, and tools to support children to grow up loved, safe, and respected.
