November Highlights with Parent Network Scotland
November has been a busy and exciting month for Parent Network Scotland (PNS) as we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a host of amazing events and initiatives. Here’s a quick recap of everything we’ve been up to:
Join Us at Drumchapel Community Centre
We kicked off the month with an engaging event at Drumchapel Community Centre, joined by our friends from W.O.W. 3d_drumchapel. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local families and share the support we offer through Parent Network Scotland.
Cat’s Radio Interview
PNS Parent Group leader, Cat, shared her inspiring story during a radio interview on SHMU FM, thanks to Mike at ACVO. Cat spoke about her experience volunteering for Parent Network Scotland, and in celebration of our 25th anniversary, the team at SHMU FM even played “Happy Birthday” for us!
Team PNS Warming Up for Our AGM
As we celebrated 25 years of Parent Network Scotland, we hosted our AGM at the lovely Willow Tearooms. It was a wonderful day filled with reflection, gratitude, and excitement for the future. A huge thanks to Willow Tearooms for making the day extra special!
Annual Quality Assurance Evaluation
We hosted our annual Quality Assurance Evaluation this month as an in-person event, and the turnout was fantastic. Parents shared their valuable feedback, which will help us continue improving the support we provide.
Team PNS was proud to welcome parents for our online Quality Assurence event!

A Visit to Blackfriars Primary
We were delighted to visit Blackfriars Primary to talk about the work we do at Parent Network Scotland and the courses we offer for parents and carers. It’s always great to share our mission and resources.
A Day of Family Fun and Free Resources
What a day! We handed out free books, kids’ activity packs, and refreshments to families who stopped by to see us. Many parents signed up for our FREE courses, too, ensuring even more families benefit from the support we offer.

A Magical Evening at the Peter Pan Panto
The month ended on a magical note as Team PNS enjoyed an evening at the Peter Pan Panto. Jen, Amreen, and our families had a fabulous time filled with laughter, adventure, and festive magic. It was a wonderful opportunity to make memories and celebrate the season with loved ones.
